What we provide
Our Charity provides acts of kindness to those needing it most. We provide retail shopping vouchers, flowers, gifts, food hampers and monetary donations. Our Christmas Fund which runs during the festive period has become extremely popular amongst our membership where we donate over 125 food hampers and over £10,000 retail gift cards to beneficiaries, usually vulnerable victims of crime, for which we receive so many thankyou cards and letters from grateful recipients.
Assistance can range from providing football kits to local youth teams; replacing equipment for community groups working with disadvantaged adults/children which has been damaged by vandalism; providing support to relocate following race hate crimes and just reassurance that someone cares.
We also make donations to many local charities by offering support to poorly funded organisations where the money we donate can make a massive difference. At the end of each financial year, we ensure that every penny of the funds we raise is donated to one or more cause. We have donated over £60,000 to Zoe's Place Baby Hospice; £1,155 to The Oliver King Foundation to purchase a much-needed defibrillator; £2,500 to Wirral Community Narrowboat Trust offering trips to hospices, special schools and many more. The Charity has now raised over £500,000!
Over the years we have also been privileged to be able to donate to:-
|Rhys Jones Community Centre||£13,000|
|KIND (Kinds in Need and Distress)||£14,5000|
|OLLY (Our Lost Love Years)||£13,5000|
|Stick n Step||£22,500|
|Marina Dalglish Appeal||£15,000|
... And many more!!
Our Fund enables members of Merseyside Police to help those in the communities in which they serve; A Fund of which we are extremely proud.
