Last chance to vote for national Chairman

Time is running out to vote for your National Chair

Members have until midnight on 30 July to cast their vote for the person they want to be National Chair of the Police Federation of England and Wales.

Two candidates have put themselves forward to stand as National Chair: John Apter and Phill Matthews. Find out more about them on the 'National Chair candidates' page.

Members can vote by visiting www.mi-vote.com and entering their personal unique voting code, which was sent to members' PNN email addresses when voting opened from 12 July. A reminder was sent to all members, with a copy of their voting code, last weekend (21/22 July) - a final reminder will be sent towards the end of this week.

The National Chair plays a key role in the national Federation, ensuring the welfare and interests of members are at the heart of the services we provide, acting as principal spokesperson, and representing the organisation on a national level - read the role description in full.

The individual elected to the role will take up the post from 1 August, taking over from current National Chair Calum Macleod, who announced his decision not to stand for re-election earlier this month.
